Traditional majors such as English, music, history and broadcast communications are taught side by side with pre-professional programs such as the pre-medical tracks in biology and chemistry or the pre-law track.
The School of Arts and Sciences is also home to the Army ROTC program of military sciences studies. The Army ROTC program at LMU seeks to recruit, train and commission future officers of the United States Army, providing them with the skills to be leaders.
