President Nancy B. Moody
is charged with executive responsibility for the University.
Message from the President
Welcome to Lincoln Memorial University! Since its founding on February 12, 1897, the University has
been meeting the higher education needs of not only the tri-state area of Kentucky, Tennessee, and
Virginia, but numerous other states and countries. The University takes great pride in its alumni
who have consistently distinguished themselves as scholars, business and community leaders, and
responsible citizens committed to service.
