Abraham Lincoln and the Presidents

The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum is pleased to open a new temporary exhibit in Kresge Gallery. “Abraham Lincoln and the Presidents,” examines a few actions of presidents prior to Lincoln and their impact on Abraham Lincoln. The President of the United States often calls upon precedent on which to bas his decisions. If there is not a direct link between the actions of individual presidents, there is at least example and influence. The 16th President Lincoln lived within the shadow of his predecessors.

This exhibit is a collaborate effort involving the talents of many people on the staff and the hard work of some very dedicated students. These capable individuals are honored on the acknowledgement panel.

The exhibit will close September 2010.
