Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, Collection - Archives and Special Collections

The Mission of the University Archives and Special Collections (UASC) is to identify, preserve and make available the university records, as well as the bibliographic, photographic, and manuscript collections of enduring cultural and historic value which document the historical legacy of Lincoln Memorial University, a 501(c)3 service institution. The UASC serves the missions of the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, as well as the Carnegie-Vincent Library in a collaboration of archival preservation, conservation, cataloging, digitization, collection development and the provision of access and support for reference and research. The unit promotes public awareness and appreciation of Lincoln Memorial University’s historical legacy of documentary resources relating to Abraham Lincoln, the Civil War era, and regional Appalachian history.

We recommend that you schedule an appointment with the Archivist, so that materials can be prepared for your research visit.
