Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum

Come Visit Us!

After a two-year, multimillion-dollar renovation, the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum is open to the public. Visitors are once again welcomed to visit one of the world's largest private collections of Lincoln and Civil War material anywhere in the world.

Upcoming Events

Friday and Saturday, April 17 & 18 - 10 am to 6 pm - Liberty’s Path: America’s Journey to 250

Join us for a celebration of the Semiquincentennial of the United States of America. Camps will be set up for each American War from the Revolution through today. There will be food vendors, demonstrations, and many, many more activities! This is a free event.

 Saturday, June 6 - 1pm to 3pm - 3rd Annual Mary Lincoln's Strawberry Party

Strawberry parties were all the rage during Lincoln's time in Springfield and Washington D.C. Join us for our Mary Lincoln Strawberry Party at the LMU Springhouse, located behind the Museum. There will be Abraham Lincoln items, along with tea and traditional "High-Tea" foods. Dress in your "tea-clothing" if you wish for a more festive atmosphere.

This is a ticketed event, with tickets priced at $10 each. Children 10 and under are admitted free of charge. Click the link below to reserve tickets.
