Just comes to LMU from Quincy University, where he turned around a program that was winless in his first season and guided them to four consecutive 20-win seasons, two conference titles, four consecutive trips to the NCAA Division II Tournament and an appearance in the NCAA Elite Eight in 2004. That 2004 squad finished the season ranked seventh in the USA Today / ESPN / Women's Basketball Coaches Association national poll. The winningest coach in Quincy Lady Hawks history, Just has been named Illinois Basketball Coaches Association NCAA Division II Coach of the Year four times and Great Lakes Valley Conference Coach of the Year three times during his tenure. He comes to LMU with a career coaching record of 155-135. Prior to Quincy, Just spent eight years as the assistant women's basketball coach at Bellarmine University under his brother, head coach Charlie Just. During that time the Knights went 179-53, making six NCAA Tournament appearances, three trips to the Elite Eight and an appearance in the 1994 Final Four. A native of Louisville, Ky., Just earned a bachelor's of science degree in secondary education in 1988 from Indiana University Southeast and a master's in education from in 1996 from the same institution. While at IUS he was a four-year letterwinner on the men's basketball team and remains the school's all-time leader in assists and is ranked fourth in scoring. Just was also an NAIA first-team Academic All-American in 1987 and 1988. Just is married to the former Denise Diebold. They have three children -- Allison (9), Brittney (7), and Eli (4).
