Ashley Wallace Joins The LMU Soccer Team
Ashley Wallace, of Lithia Springs, Georgia has announced that she will join the Lincoln Memorial University women’s soccer team in 2007. A 5’7 goalkeeper, Wallace has done well at Lithia Springs High School while playing her prep career.  On the high school level, Wallace has been team captain, MVP, All County, and All Region.

LMU Alumna And Former Coach Flying High In British Professional Women’s Soccer
Former Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach Ana Bruni (MA class of 2004) continues to be involved in the sport.  Since graduating from LMU, Bruni has played professional women’s soccer for Keynsham Town FC in Bath, England.  Last year she was among the top scorers on her team and helped the club win a league championship. (Southwest Combination)  Recently, the team was promoted to the higher division (Women’s Premier League – Southern Division).

Vanessa Santana Joins Lady Railsplitter Soccer Team
LMU’s women’s soccer team continues to get stronger.  Head Coach Helio D’Anna announced recently that Vanessa Santana will join the roster this coming fall.

Kiwi And Brazilian To Join The Lady Railsplitters
Two players coming from different extremes of the globe will meet at Lincoln Memorial University this fall to play soccer.  Denise de Resende, from Taguatinga, Brazil and Hannah McEwan, from New Zealand will become teammates in the fall of 2007.

LMU Women’s Soccer Continues To Add To Roster
The shaping of the 2007 Women’s Soccer Roster continues.   Head Soccer Coach Helio D’Anna has announced two more players to the roster.   Karen Boleska (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) and Becky Thompson (Frederick, Maryland) have committed to play for LMU this fall.

Amanda Moran Signs Letter of Intent
This has been a busy recruiting season for the Lincoln Memorial University Head Soccer Coach Helio D’Anna.  This week D’Anna received confirmation that Amanda Moran, of Springfield OH will start her collegiate career with the Lady Railsplitters this fall.

The Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Soccer Team will have one more new player from Florida in the fall.  Julianna Childers, of Titusville, Florida has accepted an offer to join the squad.

Campos To Join Lady Railsplitter Soccer Team
Karina Campos,
of Sao Paulo, Brazil has been added to the Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Soccer Roster.  A multi-position player, she is expected to play forward for the Lady Railsplitters according to Head Coach Helio D’Anna.

The Lincoln Memorial University Head Soccer Coach Helio D’Anna has inked the first signee for 2007.  Lindsay Wainikainen of Malabar, Florida has committed to become a Lady Railsplitter.

Maryland Native Joins The LMU Women’s Soccer Team
Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Soccer Coach Helio D’Anna has added a player to the women’s roster for spring 2007. Lea Cataggio, of Aberdeen, MD has signed to be a part of the Lady Railsplitter program, beginning January 2007.

Women's Soccer Defeats Mars Hill
Juliana Povoa
(Brasilia, Brazil) scored on a through ball from Heloisa de Oliveira (Campinas, Brazil) at the 64:51 mark to lift Lincoln Memorial University to a 1-0 victory in women's soccer action this afternoon in Meares Stadium. MHC fell to 8-5-1 with the loss while the Lady Railsplitters improved to 7-4-1 on the season. (Box score)

Catawba and visiting Lincoln Memorial battled to a 1-1 tie in women’s soccer action on Wednesday night at Frock Field.  Catawba, ranked 25th in NCAA II, now stands at 9-1-2, while the Lady Railsplitters are 6-4-1. (Box score)

Second British Player Joins Women’s Soccer Team
Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Soccer Coach Helio D’Anna has now received confirmation that Sarah Harvey (Daventry, England) will be the second UK player joining the squad.  The signing of Harvey follows the announcement made earlier this month of Leanne Harkness also from England.
