Tuesday, the Lincoln Memorial University men’s and women’s golf team found
that life on the road in the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament
isn’t easy, as the Railsplitters placed 9th and the Lady
Railsplitters finished 6th in the league tournament.

golf tournaments as the spring schedule winds down.

2-2 in a match-play event held Saturday at Holston Hills Country Club.

Southern Wins Tusculum/Kiawah Island Women's Golf Intercollegiate
The top-ranked Florida Southern women’s golf team solidified its top ranking
by winning the 2008 Tusculum College/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate this
weekend at the Cougar Point Golf Club. Florida Southern, the defending NCAA
Division II national champion, placed four players in the top 20, including
three in the top seven.

Maria Stapleton (Baneberry, TN)
has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s golf for the Lady
Railsplitters with the beginning of the fall 2008 semester.
