LMU’s Horenkamp Named All-SAC Second Team

HARROGATE, TN – Lincoln Memorial University volleyball outside hitter Amanda Horenkamp (Murfreesboro, TN) has been named to the All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team according to the conference office in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

A 5’9” sophomore, Horenkamp helped the Lady Railsplitters achieve a 20-15 overall record while leading the squad in kills (430) and kills-per-game (3.52), while finishing second in digs (443) and second in digs-per-game (3.63).

Last Friday, Horenkamp and her Lady Railsplitter teammates ended the season with a 3-0 loss to the Catawba College Catawba Indians in the first round of the 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Tournament held in Jefferson City, Tennessee at Carson-Newman College’s Hold Fieldhouse.
