Lady Railsplitters Volunteer in the Community

HARROGATE, TN – Several members of the 2006-07 LMU softball team spent a few hours raking leaves for a local resident last Thursday.

The activity was part of the team's ongoing efforts to participate in community service projects.  Last spring, the team worked at the annual clean-up day in Harrogate and in August, they volunteered several hours at the Claiborne County Relay for Life.  Additionally, team members have been reading to local school children as part LMU's ABLE Program (Athletes Being Leaders in Education)
