ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lincoln Memorial University’s Heloisa de Oliveira has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.

Oliveira, a 5-8 senior from Campinas, Brazil, broke Lincoln Memorial’s school records for career goals, points and assists last week. After scoring six goals in two games last week and adding three assists, Oliveira has now scored 62 career goals (12 this season), 162 career points (29 this season) and 38 career assists (five this season).

She scored two goals and had two assists in the Lady Railsplitters’ 7-0 romp over West Virginia Tech, and tallied four goals and an assist in LMU’s 9-1 win over Brevard.

The award marks Lincoln Memorial University’s first-ever SAC women’s soccer player of the week.

The conference's eight-member institution's sports information directors select the 2007 SAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week.
