OFFICE OF SPORTS INFORMATION Sports Release April 22, 2008 LMU Cross Country Presents Individual Awards At University’s Athletics Banquet HARROGATE, TN – Six awards were presented to members of the Lincoln Memorial University men’s and women’s cross country teams at Tuesday night’s annual Athletics Banquet held on the University’s campus. Named Runner of the Year awards went to multi-sport athlete Kathleen Rollet (Bouge Chambalud, France) who also plays tennis and Jeremy Donahue (Sevierville, TN) who recently accepted the position of Head Cross Country Coach at Lincoln Memorial University. The Most Improved award went to the Lady Railsplitter’s Jennifer Ely (Jonesville, VA) and Ted Johnson (Winneconne, WI), while the Coach’s award was presented to Michelle Ratliff (Jonesborough, TN) and Mark Paulson (Neenah, WI). Both teams ended the 2007 fall season in the Southeast Regional Tournament held in Wingate, North Carolina. The men’s team finished 8th in the region while the Lady Railsplitters were 6th. -LMU-
