King Sends LMU Basketball Teams Into Holiday Break On A Losing Note

 

Bristol, TN – On Saturday afternoon King College upended Lincoln Memorial University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams in back to back games and forced LMU to depart for the holiday break on a losing note. (Women's box score) (Men's box score)

 

The Railsplitters were defeated 91-84 to drop their third consecutive game of the season, while the Lady Railsplitters lost to King for the first time in the history of the program by the final of 75-62.  Neither LMU team led at any time during the two contests.

 

The LMU men now 4-3 on the year will resume the 2006-07 schedule December 29-30 when they travel to Pembroke, North Carolina for the UNC-Pembroke Classic, while the Lady Railsplitters will also get action started just before the New Year when they travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina for the USC Upstate Classic.
