LMU Women Lose At Kentucky State

FRANKFORT, KY – The Lincoln Memorial University women's basketball team picked up their first loss of the young season when they fell to host Kentucky State 63-54. (Box score)

The difference in the game was the turnovers as the Lady Railsplitters gave away the ball 26 times with Kentucky State scoring 32 points off of those turnovers.

LMU (1-1) was led by junior Sidney Johnson (Cincinnati, OH) with ten points and eight rebounds.  LMU out-rebounded the Thorobrettes 55-36 for the game.

Kentucky State (1-0) was led by Courtney Matthewis with 19 points.

LMU will host USC-Upstate on Nov. 21 at 6:00 pm.
