LMU’s Brown Named To SAC All-Freshman Team

HARROGATE, TN – Lincoln Memorial University men’s basketball guard Beau Brown has been named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman Team by the head coaches throughout the league.

A 6’2” product of McMinn Central High School, Brown ranks as the Railsplitters' second leading scorer, averaging 13.6 points per game.  In addition, Brown helped the Railsplitters finish as the SAC’s No. 5 ranked team with a regular season conference record of 7-9.

This Wednesday evening the Railsplitters will travel to Hickory, North Carolina to take on No. 4 seed Lenoir-Rhyne College in the Quarterfinals of the South Atlantic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament at 7:00 p.m.  The winner will advance to the league final four which will also be held in Hickory at the Catawba Valley Community College Arena.
