Hill snapped a two-game skid as they ran past Lincoln Memorial Wednesday
night in Stanford Arena, 101-81. The Lions are now 10-12 overall and 4-6
in the SAC. LMU fell to 8-15 on the season and 1-9 in the league. (Box

The Lions scored 54 first half points by connecting on 75% (21-28) of their shots from the floor. P.J. Gore (North Myrtle Beach, SC) led MHC with 22 points and nine rebounds. Jabreel Moton (Cincinnati, OH) scored 19 while Jamarl Glen (District Heights, MD) added 18. Glen had a team high six assists in the win. Gore was fouled 39 second into the contest and he nailed both shots at the charity stripe to give the Lions a 2-0 advantage they would not relinquish. Gore scored 16 points in the first frame to lead the Lions to a 54-24 advantage at the intermission. Mars Hill enjoyed their largest lead of 34 points (58-24) after Akeene Coakley (Mt. Pleasant, SC) hit a layup with 19:38 left in the game. LMU would trim the lead to 16 points with 6:23 left in the game after Emmanuel Njomo (Fairfax, VA) hit a shot in the paint. That was as close as the Railsplitters would get. Njomo led all scorers with 28 points. Terry Delaney (Murfreesboro, TN) and Ryan Whitaker (Pineville, KY) were the only other players for LMU in double figures. They scored 14 and 13 points in the contest, respectively. MHC scored 62 points in the paint, 29 off LMU miscues and 22 off the break. The Lions won the rebound battle 34-30 and ended the contest hitting 63.3% (38-60) from the floor. MHC will play at Catawba College on Saturday at 4 p.m. LMU will host Lenoir-Rhyne College on Saturday at 8 p.m. -LMU- For additional
