Railsplitters Take Three Of Four From Ohio Valley

HARROGATE, TN – The Lincoln Memorial University baseball team managed to come away with three wins over the weekend by splitting with the Fighting Scots of Ohio Valley University on Saturday, winning 12-9 and losing 9-6.  On Sunday the Railsplitters swept the final two games of the series, winning 8-4 and 5-2 to move to 5-4 on the year.

 

The weekend’s victories set the stage for Wednesday’s non-conference double-header with NCAA Division II Kentucky State University.  The Thorobreds come to the Lamar Hennon Field prepared to play their season-opener with the Railsplitters who already have nine games under their belts, including this weekend’s games with Ohio Valley University.  The Railsplitters and the Thorobreds will throw the first pitch at Noon.
