LMU Athletics Ready For Bailey/Bishop Memorial Golf Outing

HARROGATE, TN – Lincoln Memorial University athletics department personnel are gearing up for the annual Coach Dean Bailey/Dr. Jerry Bishop Memorial Golf Outing which is held annually at Woodlake Golf Course in Tazewell, Tennessee.

The event will benefit the University’s $1 million dollar campaign for LMU Athletics.  This year’s outing will feature more than 35 four-man teams in the scramble style 18-hole format and is set to begin Friday May 16 at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.  The event will feature morning and afternoon flights to accommodate this year’s participants.  The morning flight will tee off at 8:30 a.m. and the afternoon play will begin at 1:30. A tournament luncheon will be served in between flights. A gift pack will also be given to each participant in the tournament.

In addition to the golf tournament, the LMU athletics department will be holding a silent auction for an autographed Kenny Chesney guitar, a family membership package at Woodlake Golf Course and several other items. The public is invited to bid on the auction items.  To bid prior to the tournament, contact Robin Susong at (423) 869-6285. Final bidding will take place at the tournament.

There are still several openings available for teams and individuals in the tournament.  Admission is $425 per team or $125 per individual.
