TEACHERS UPSET DOPE TO DEFEAT L.M.U. TEAM

JOHNSON CITY, Nov. 6 (Spl.) -- East
Tennessee Teachers college defeated Lincoln Memorial University here this
afternoon by the afternoon by the score of 12 to 7. The game was a surprising
upset as the L.M.U. team was doped to win by a large score.
L.M.U. scored early in the game on a delayed off tackle
play. The play was good for 50 yards. From here on the Lincoln team never
threatened to score.
