Davison Receives Mary Mildred Sullivan Award

Cami Davison award

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) proudly honored Cami Davison as the recipient of the Mary Mildred Sullivan Award at the 2024 Student Leadership Awards Banquet, held at Tex Turner Arena on April 23.

Established by the New York Southern Society in 1925, the Mary Mildred Sullivan Award recognizes individuals who embody benevolent qualities in their daily lives. LMU is one of approximately 60 colleges and universities in the United States with the privilege of awarding the Algernon Sydney Sullivan and Mary Mildred Sullivan Awards. These awards allow LMU to recognize individuals for their fine benevolent qualities that are practically applied to daily living.

Davison, a standout leader within the LMU community, has distinguished herself through her unwavering commitment to service, reliability, creativity, and education.

As a Lincoln Ambassador, Resident Assistant, and SGA president, Davison has displayed exemplary leadership, fostering inclusivity and enhancing the student experience. Her empathetic leadership style has brought together diverse groups within the university community, promoting collaboration and dialogue.

Beyond campus borders, Davison’s efforts in community relations have strengthened ties between LMU and local organizations, facilitating collaboration and service projects. In addition to her extensive extracurricular involvement, including maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being named valedictorian, Davison excels academically and serves as a mentor to her peers.

Davison has been accepted to Lincoln Memorial University’s Physician’s Assistant program. She also received the Lifetime Lincoln Award.
